What we do

Types of work: pressure washing

Pressure washing of paving stonesType 01 · Pressure washing

Paving stones

Paving stones collect dirt, moss and stains, and their sand joints wash out with rain and cleaning. We clean the surface with a rotary surface cleaner or a suitable nozzle, without digging out the joints or damaging the top layer of the pavers. Once clean and dry, the pavers can get polymeric sand in the joints, then a sealer that slows down stains and weeds. Driveways, walkways, patios and pool decks get their original colour back. Washing is often the first step before relaying or sealing pavers.

Driveways and sidewalks

Concrete or asphalt driveways get oil from cars, salt from winter and dirt from tires. We treat tough stains first, then clean the whole surface evenly to avoid streaks. Sidewalks, curbs and concrete steps are washed with the same care. A clean driveway is also safer: moss and algae make concrete slippery in spring and fall.

Patios, decks and pool surrounds

Concrete or paver patios and pool surrounds turn green quickly in the shade and near water. Washing removes the algae, moss and leaf stains that make the surface slippery. We adjust the pressure for more delicate materials and direct the wash water away from the pool and flower beds. For wood or composite decks, we lower the pressure so the fibres are not raised.

Type 04

Concrete walls, low walls and façades

Exposed foundations, low walls and brick or concrete façades get stained by running water, pollution and vegetation. We clean these surfaces at controlled pressure, top to bottom, protecting windows, doors and light fixtures. Washing also shows the true condition of the wall: if we notice a crack, parging that is coming off or damaged joints, we let you know, since we also do those repairs.

Type 05

Parking lots and commercial surfaces

Parking lots, store entrances, loading docks, private sidewalks and restaurant terraces: commercial surfaces get dirty fast and make the first impression on customers. We plan the washing around your opening hours to disturb as little as possible, and work in sections when the surface is large. Oil stains and chewing gum are treated before the general wash. We can come back in spring and fall for regular maintenance.

Our approach

The right pressure for every surface

01.

Pressure washing done wrong can damage what it was supposed to clean: emptied paver joints, marked concrete, raised wood fibres, parging torn off. The highest pressure is not always the best.

02.

We choose the pressure, the nozzle and the distance for the surface, and use a rotary surface cleaner on large flat areas for an even result without streaks. Oil and rust stains are treated before the general wash.

03.

The wash water is directed away from foundations, basement windows, flower beds and the pool. Doors, windows and light fixtures are protected before we start.

04.

Because we also do concrete, parging and foundation repairs, we know how to spot a damaged surface. If washing reveals a problem, we tell you, without pushing work you do not need. We work across the island of Montreal, in Laval and in the West Island (Kirkland, Pointe-Claire, Dollard-des-Ormeaux and Pierrefonds-Roxboro).

Clear answers

Frequently asked questions

How much does pressure washing cost?

The price depends on the area, the material, the stains and whether polymeric sand or a sealer is added. We prepare a quote after seeing the surfaces or photos.

Can pressure washing damage my paving stones?

Yes, if the pressure is too high or the nozzle too close. We adjust the pressure and use a rotary surface cleaner to clean without digging out the joints or marking the pavers.

How often should paving stones or a driveway be washed?

Once a year is often enough, in spring after the winter salt. Shaded surfaces or surfaces near a pool may need more frequent care.

Should a sealer be applied after washing?

It is not mandatory, but a sealer applied on clean, dry pavers slows down stains, moss and weeds in the joints.

Do you wash commercial properties?

Yes: parking lots, entrances, private sidewalks and terraces. We plan the washing around your opening hours.

Do you speak English?

Yes. We serve our clients in English and French, including in the West Island.

Which areas do you serve?

The whole island of Montreal from our base in Ahuntsic, plus Laval and the West Island (Kirkland, Pointe-Claire, Dollard-des-Ormeaux and Pierrefonds-Roxboro). We serve our clients in English and French.
