Frequently asked questions

Prices, permits, debris, paving stone washing, cracks and quotes: answers to the questions we hear most.

Demolition

Demolition

What to know before a demolition.

How much does demolition cost in Montreal?

The price depends on the area, the materials, the thickness of the concrete, access and the volume of debris. We prepare a detailed quote after seeing the site.

Do I need a demolition permit in Montreal?

It depends on the work and the borough. Demolishing a building requires authorization from the borough. We check with you what applies.

What do you do with the debris?

We bring it out, sort it and take it to approved sites, with a container if needed.

What about asbestos in older houses?

In buildings from before 1980, have the materials tested before the demolition. If there is asbestos, it must be removed by a specialized company before our work.

Pressure washing

Pressure washing

Paving stones, driveways, patios and commercial surfaces.

How much does pressure washing cost?

The price depends on the area, the material, the stains and whether polymeric sand or a sealer is added. We prepare a quote after seeing the surfaces or photos.

Can washing damage my paving stones?

Not if the pressure and nozzle are right. We clean without digging out the joints or marking the pavers.

Is a sealer needed after washing?

It is not mandatory, but a sealer on clean, dry pavers slows down stains and moss.

Concrete

Concrete

Cracks, parging, slabs and sidewalks.

Is a foundation crack serious?

Not always. A crack that lets water in, gets wider or runs horizontally should be examined quickly.

When can concrete be poured?

When the temperature allows, so the concrete does not freeze before it hardens. We plan around the weather.

Does all the parging need to be redone?

If the damaged areas are limited, a repair is enough. If the parging sounds hollow in several places, it is better to redo it.

Before the work

Quote

From the first request to the written quote.

How does a quote request work?

You describe your project through the form or by phone, we visit the site, then you receive a written quote.
